THE ECAMS

When we got into aviation, we became fascinated by the stories, the people, and the strange little details that make the industry what it is. We also wanted a better way to remember the memory items we had to rehearse, so we started turning them into songs. What began as a joke between pilots quickly became something genuinely useful — and a lot more fun than repeating the same words in the shower.

Word got around. Pilots started asking us to make versions for them — most wanted theirs kept private, a few preferred them shared more widely. Either way, the requests turned the idea into real work.

From there, The ECAMS kept growing. Aviation affects almost every part of the world, and there’s always something interesting happening behind the scenes. We wanted to stay informed, so we started sharing the articles, news, and stories that caught our attention.

Then came the puzzles. Sometimes you’re at cruise, waiting for a deadhead, sitting in a hotel, or just looking for something to do with the people around you. A crossword, Sudoku, or a bit of trivia is a simple way to pass the time and keep the mind sharp. And sometimes it’s a fun way to work on CRM with the crew — we’d rather play together than do it alone, but to each their own.

We love making all of it, but it takes time, tools, and money to keep going. That’s why we also take on custom music and creative projects. It helps support the work, and honestly, we enjoy doing it.

So put on the music, pass the puzzle around, share the good stuff with your crew, and keep learning something new. Aviation has a way of reminding us there’s always more to know — and another chance to get a little better.
